Hey all you sci-fi lovers! Here is some really exciting news that I can bet is definitely going to lift your spirits. To make our holidays a bit more pleasing, Sci-Fi has announced that the Stargate series will not be canceled at all. Albeit it will change its present form and we will be able to watch an entirely new form of Stargate which will be called Stargate Universe. Now I am sure that this piece of news must have bought a smile to your lips and if you want to give vent to your excitement in any other way (perhaps by shouting aloud, or dancing a little or by kissing the person nearest to you) you are most welcome to follow your heart!
I know how most of you felt, when it was announced that there would be no new season for Stargate Atlantis. It surely dampened my spirits and I really freaked out at the very thought of series coming to an end. It seemed unfortunate that a show which had been entertaining us for over a decade was in danger of fading away at the end of the current season. Now after learning that we will get a brand new season with a brand new franchise, it really feels like a dream has been realized. I thank the people at Sci-Fi for understanding what their audiences want and giving them exactly the same thing. Thanks a bunch for saving and bringing back our favorite science fiction series.
Stargate Universe will introduce Scottish actor Robert Carlyle as Dr. David Rush. He will be at the helm of the affairs as the new captain of the Stargate team. The team will find themselves on an ancient spaceship after they do the portal thing through a stargate. Carlyle will try to understand the secrets of the new ship while he also tries to get the team back to home. But it is also speculated that he might have some secret agenda of his own. Well, well well………… seems quite interesting, doesn’t it. So guys get prepared for an exiting and thrilling new round of Stargate that will probably hit your TV screens during the coming summer season.
