Yeah, it’s very true that the popular television franchise Stargate is all set to rock soon. And, the preparations for the same have already commenced.

The Dynamite Entertainment has very recently announced that it would bring three brand new series of comics for each version of the popular television franchise. Stargate SG 1, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe would serve as the basis for the comic books. The Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis will be promoted as ‘Season Eleven’ and ‘Season Six’ respectively and the events would be picked off from where those were left by the TV versions of the series.

In a press release, Nick Barrucci, the president of Dynamite Entertainment said, “Stargate is truly a crown jewel when it comes to episodic science fiction television”. Just in time for the Stargate Universe series debuting in October, Dynamite will create an adventure series retailers and fans alike will love.  We have three separate launches planned, each designed to focus on the characters and attention coming the way of both the new show and Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis” .

Let me also tell you that the latest series of Stargate franchise would made its debut on October 2, 2009 on the Syfy channel. The season opener would be a two hour episode. The storyline would center on a group of people, a mixture of  civilians, soldiers and scientists and would follow them as they unlock the secrets of the ship they are on and try to come back to earth. Among the star cast of the series are Robert Carlyle, Lou Diamond Phillips, Ming-Na, Alaina Huffman, Louis Ferreira, David Blue, Jamil Walker Smith and Brian J.
