Stargate seasons have been conceived by the brain child of creator Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich. Stargate, a military science fiction franchise has produced Stargate SG-1, Stargate Infinity, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe as television series so far. Many books, video games, and comic books have been also issued on it.
Stargate SG-1 season 1 continues the plot of blockbuster movie ‘Stargate’ following new adventures of Earth’s military team, SG-1, which moves to other planets with more than a dozen SG teams. They use Stargate, a fictional alien portal, for this purpose, which is housed at Stargate Command (SGC), a top-secret United States Air Force military base, underneath Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They are on a mission to defend Earth against the Goa’uld, a snake-like parasitic alien race. So, they start finding alien technology which they can use against the Goa’uld. According to the back stories the Goa’uld came on earth and took humans as slaves with them and now, wants to rule as Ancient gods. Ori, a fictional character from same species, appears to be the main antagonist in the end seasons.
Stargate Infinity showcases 30 years future bustles of Gus Bonner. When unfriendly alien race, Tlak’kahn, attacks the Stargate Command (SGC) to find the chrysalis, Gus successfully escapes from there. He builds a team to clear his name after he is charged for a crime he did not committed. He and his team move planet to planet with chrysalis to find out proofs for his innocence. During their journey, they discover unique cultures in the galaxy and returns back to Earth after completing their operation. During this, they get highly helped by Ec’co, a SGC cadet and friendly half-alien, who fixed everything with whatever, was lying around and Seattle Montoya used to warn for coming harms because of her different visions.
Stargate Atlantis doesn’t continue with second part or Buster’s future adventures but centers John Sheppard and his military team in present time. With their co-teams, they venture to far-away planets. They reach Atlantis, a city on the planet “Lantea”, built millions of years ago by the Ancients. They are one of the most advanced races of the Stargate universe. Because of a plague in the Milky Way Galaxy, five - ten million years ago, they moved to the Pegasus Galaxy. There, they bring life to hundreds of worlds as they did in the Milky Way. After war with the Wraith, a powerful enemy, over hundreds of years, the Ancients lost and submerged their city beneath Lantea’s ocean.
Stargate universe season 1 is ready to be premiered on 2nd October, 2009. Opening episodes will show that a research team finds themselves on millions of years old Ancient vessel’s board when they are evicted from their secret base. They are unable to get a way to their home and life support system. By the help of an Ancient intergalactic communication device discovered on board, some of the new crew of the Destiny is able to come in consciousness and arrive back to Earth. Colonel Young meets Williams and O’Neill on Earth regarding a very dangerous plan. Nicholas Rush flashes back to the time and risks his life in an experiment involving the ship’s computer, when he was recruited into the Stargate Program. After the death of his wife, Gloria Rush, He becomes more determined to find out the secrets of ninth chevron. Rest of the series is under cover for the time.
