Initially, we’re talked about Stargate SG-1, next was the Stargate Infinity and today is Stargate Atlantis.
So, the Stargate Atlantis is another spin-off of the sci-fi series Stargate SG-1. It followed 4 explorers who travel through an interplanetary portal, the Stargate. Series follows these secret scientists as they discover a famous but lost city Atlantis, but Atlantis is not on earth. It’s on another galaxy. It begins with the same storyline initiated in SG-1 season finale. Scientific group of Stargate Atlantis is being led by Dr. Elizabeth Weir, an international diplomat.
The whole crew discovers a chair- ‘a key’ to Atlantis. John Sheppard sits in the chair and it proceeds to serve as a holographic map to Atlantis. Team mission is to bring whatever they discover back top earth. They face troubles while looking for the technology which can help them to come back on earth.
They must find a power source within Atlantis’ own Pegasus galaxy using the same Stargate system that got them there or they will be stranded forever. They must face Wraith, the evil which is hungry for human and is the worst evil which human has ever faced. So, this is Stargate Atlantis.
Okay, tell me one thing. Which is the best series of the three- Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis or Stargate Infinity? I’ll tell in next post but before that make up your mind for answer.
This is another spin-off from the very popular Stargate enterprise and this animated Stargate series consists of 26 episodes.
Stargate infinity was premiered in September, 2006 and as the series was not popular and not satisfied the viewers so was canceled after the first season (Season 1 is available to download now).
Series continued the adventurous story of Stargate command and followed the men and women who travel around the universe using the extraordinary powers of the very mysterious Stargate portals.
Stargate Infinity introduced Major Gus Bonner and his group of young cadets who flee across the universe. The Tlak’khan, a ferocious new alien enemy is working for the Nax’kan Council. The whole team fights against the evils in order to clear Gus’ name and the second objective of the whole team is to protect Draga: a stranger alien. Draga is perhaps the key which can unlock the secrets of Stargate and of the Ancients who build it.
Well, I enjoyed the Stargate Infinity and was disturbed with the cancellation of the series. I’m not missing Stargate Infinity as I have the whole stargate infinity episodes. Click here if you want to have them.
Stargate Atlantis is another part of the Stargate franchise and was developed by SG-1 producers. Actually, SG-1 is a spin-off from the original Stargate SG-1 series which follows a scientific and military group led by Dr. Elizabeth Weir. The whole series was produced and filmed in Canada.
A group of scientists discovers the location of some famous lost city of Atlantis which’s not a part of earth and is located in another galaxy. Now, their mission is to look into the secrets of Atlantis and bring whatever they discover back to earth. They all are there with no help, no means to return, and no rescue hopes until they found the technology required to return back to earth.
The SGA team includes Major John Sheppard, his second in command Lt. Aiden Ford, Dr. Rodney McKay, the scientist, Teyla Emmagan who’s a smart, alien woman from the Pegasus galaxy. As they reach on the very first planet, they met a new powerful enemy, the Wraith which is known to be hungry for Human Beings. Watch the episodes of Stargate here.
